Hunting is a gameplay element that revolves around sneaking towards, killing, and possibly skinning of animals. Skinning a killed animal gives you the pelt of the animal, which can be sold for money. When the player skins an animal, Marston can be seen crouching in front of the animal, take out his knife, and do some stuff with it. Blood splats on the screen confirm a successful skinning.
Animals
There are approximately 40 animals. These include coyotes, snake, buffalos, buzzards, bear, and many more. Different animals have pelts with different values.
